SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
JULY 3, 1963
The City Council met July 3, 1963 at 7:00 P. M. in special session
with all members present, Pat Onstot, Carl Ward, Jack Parker,
Taylor Hickman and C. T. Shields. The meeting was called so the
Council might consider and take official action on the following
items: Property Equalization, Municipal Audit and Garbage System.
Mr. Hall representing the Erik Ehrenborg Appraisal Co. of Dallas,
met with the Council and presented his proposal for property
equalization. He stated that his company could measure all pro-
perty and have the figures of equalized value ready by October
1st, for the 1963 tax statements, at a cost of approximately
$4,250.00. Motion was made by Jack Parker and second by Pat
Onstot to accept Mr. Hall's proposal. Motion carried.
Motion was made by Taylor Hickman and seconded by Jack Parker
to have "Ir. Charles T. McCroy to make a 1814unicipal Audit of
the City of Wylie, for approximately $575.00. Beginning April
1, 1962 thru September 30, 1963.
If the City decides the Pac-Mor Company will bring a new Garbage
truck on July 12th for the City' s approval. Motion was made by
Pat Onstot and seconded by Carl Watd to lease the truck they are
now using for $3.00 per hour when in use until some arrangement
can be made to buy one. Motion carried.
