SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
AUGUST 19, 1963
The City Council met in special session August 19, 1963
in reference to interviewing the following men for City
Manager: Mr. Jack Whitt, of Donna, Texas, Mr. Crockrell,
of Harker Heights and Mr. Garrison of Knox City, Texas.
Also to appoint an Equalization Board for 1963 City Taxes.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Hall, with all
members present, Pat Onstot, Carl Ward, C. T. Shields,
Taylor Hickman and Jack Parker.
There was no action taken at this time but would ask for
references on each applicant for City Manager.
On a motion made by Jack Parker and second by Pat Onstot
Curtis Hale, E. D. Ellenburg and Bill Woods were appointed
to serve on the Equalization Board for the City Tax Roll
for 1963. Motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 9:00 P. M.
