08-26-1963 (City Council) Minutes SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
AUGUST 26, 1963
The City Council met in a call session on Monday August
26, 1963 at 700 P.M. with all members present. The pur-
pose of the meeting was to discuss the hiring of a City
Administrator. After a lengthly discussion the City
Council instructed Mayor Hall to contact Mr. Jack H. Whitt
and accept his application at a salary of $600.00 per Mo.
provided he would accept the duties of City Judge at no
extra cost to the City. Mayor Hall then called for motion
on the above discussion. "Motion was made by C. T. Shields
second by Jack Parker with the following results."
Jack Parker voted Yes
C. T. Shields voted yes
Pat Onstot voted yes
Carl Ward voted no
J. T. Hickman voted no.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
