09-10-1963 (City Council) Minutes COUNCIL MEETING REGULAR SESSION
September 10, 1963
The City Council met in regular session September 10, 1963 with all
members present, Pat Onstot, Carl Ward, Jack parker, C. T. Shields
and Taylor Hickman.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Hall . The minutes of the last
regular meeting and also the minutes of the Special Session of August
19, 1963 and August 26, 1963 were read and approved.
Mayor Hall stated that Mr. Jack Whitt our new City Administrator, had
moved to Wylie and would be ready to start work between the 20th and
the 1st. of October.
The bills were read and approved to be paid, with the exceptions of
the Workmans Comp. to The Wylie Insurance Agency, which Bill Bozman
was going to look into a little further, on a motion made by Carl
Ward and sipcond by C. T. Shields. Motion Carried.

Motion was maderand second by Pat Onstot to authorize Frank Mooreman
to install an Antena on top of the water tower, at a cost of $40.00.
Motion carried.
The Council discussed hiring a part time policeman to work from 6:00
to 9:00 P M to relieve the present police from such long hours and to
have someone on duty at all time. No action was taken at this time.
C. T. Shields made motion we hold a public heariBg on the 1963 and
1964 Budget, Monday, September 30, 1963 at 7:-00 M., second by Jack
Parker. Motion carried.
With no further business the meeting adjourned at 9:30 on a motion
made by Jack Parker and second by C. T. Shields.
