May 12, 1965
The City Council met in regular session at 700 PM, May 12, 1965.
Present:` Mayor Hampton, Aldermen: Shields, St. John, Wingfield,
and Onstot. City Atty. John Gay. City Secretary Oneida Gallagher.
Alderman Miller and also Jack H. Whitt, Absent.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Hampton and the minutes
of the last regular meeting of April 92 1965 and also the minutes
of the special meeting of April 27, 1965 were read and approved as
read and on a motion by Councilman St. John and seconded by Council-
man Shields. Unanimous Ayes.
Bills were read and approved to be paid on a motion by Councilman
Shields and seconded by Councilman St. John. Motion carried.
Motion was made by Councilman Shields and seconded by Councilman
St. John to put new street lights on Duncanway and one on Hilltop
and to move the one from Ballard and Farm to Market Road 544
further up the street. Motion carried.
On a motion by Councilman Onstot and seconded by Councilman St. John
the Council decided against the Hospital Insurance Plan for City
Emplyyees as presented by A. J. McClure. Unanimous Ayes.
Motion to adjourn at 9:45, by Councilman Onstot and seconded by
Councilman Shields . Motion carried.
