a special meeting at 7:00 otclock PM for the express
purpose of studying, considering the street program
for the City of Wylie and other Municipal questions
as they arise.
This meeting is so ordered and by your signature below
you do consent to this special meeting and by the attest
of the City Secretary and application of the official
Seal of the City of Wylie to this official document so
order its entrance into the permanent record of the City
of Wylie as an official action of the Governing body of

Special Council Meeting
July 20, 1965
The City Council met in special session July 20, 1965 at 7 :00 PM,
for the express purpose of studying and considering the Street
program for the City of Wylie and other Municipal questions that
might arise.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Hampton. The Consent to
meet was signed by all presetn: Mayor Hampton, Aldermen: Shields,
Wingfield, St. John, Onstot and Miller, also present: City Adm.
Jack 'Whitt and City Secy. Oneida Gallagher.
Streets were discussed. The Council ask Mr. Whitt to bring them
up to date on Birmingham thru Kirby Streets, 1st Street, 3rd
Street, Jackson and College Streets . Mr. Whitt said they would
ask for bids on these Streets as soon as the money was in Escrow.
Letter of City Administrator Jack H. Whittts resignation was
explained by Mr. Whitt. After s short discussion by Council
Motion by Councilman Onstot and seconded by Councilman St. John —+
that Councilman Miller write a letter in answer and ask i'r.
Whitt to withdraw his resignation. Unanimous Ayes.
Motion to adjourn at 9:45 PM by Councilman St. John and seconded
by Councilman Shields. Meeting adjourned.
