SPECIAL COUNCIL MEET ING
August 24, 1965
The City Council met in Special Session, August 2 ., 1965, at
7:00 PM for the express purpose of studying and considering
the water line North of Wylie, Wylie Northeast Water Supply
Corporation, Birmingham Street and Farm to Market Road Program
North of Wylie.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Hampton. The Consent
to meet was signed by all Aldermen present.
Present: Mayor Hampton. Aldermen: St. John, Onstot, Wingfield
and Miller, with Alderman Shields on vacation. City Administrator
Jack H. Whitt and City Secy. Oneida Gallagher.
A committee from the Northeast Water Supply Corporation met with
Council in refer-ence to a water line North of Wylie. The Council
on a motion by Oouncilman Wingfield and seconded by Councilman
St. John to accept the cantract drawn by the City Attorney as
amended. Unanimous Ayes.
Birmingham Street discussed with no action.
Motion by Oouncilman Onstot and seconded by Councilman Miller
to adopt and authorize the Mayor and City Secretary to sign
Resolution for the Texas Farm to Market Road Program authoris-
ing the State Highway Department to proceed with the project
within the Corporate limits of the City of Wylie and also
authorizing the Mayor, on behalf of the City, to enter into
a Standard Maintenance Agreement with the State Highway Depart-
ment. Unanimous Ayes.
Motion to adjourn by 0ouncilman Miller and seconded by Council-
man Unstot. meeting Adjourned.
