REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING
September 14, 1965
The City Council met in regular session at 7:00 PM September
14, 1965. Present: Mayor Hampton. Aldermen: Onstot, Shields,
Wingfield, Miller and St . John. City Atty. John Gay, City
Administrator Jack Whitt and City Secretary Oneida Gallagher.
j'he meeting was called to order by '.ayor = ampton. The minutes
of the last regular meeting of August 1Q, 1965 and also the
Special meeting of August 2 , 1965 were read and approved as
read on amotion by Councilman Onstot and seconded by Council-
man Shields . notion carried.
Roy Moore and 011ie Thurman met with Council in reference to
Fire Truck. It was discussed with no decision.
Bills were read and approved to be paid on a motion by Council-
man St . John and seconded by Councilman Miller. Motion carried.
Motion was made tp appoint Jack Mote as City Judge until the _
regular City Election in April 1966, on a motion by Councilman
Wingfield and seconded by Councilman St. John,Motion carried.
Motion to adjourn by Councilman Onstot and seconded by Council-
man Shields. Motion carried.
