RECTUIJR CON—CIL MEETING
October 12, 1965
The City Council met in regular session at 7 :00 P. M. October
12, 1965. Present: : ayor Hampton, Alderl-en: St. John, Onstot,
Wingfield and Shields, with Councilman Miller absent. City
Atty. John Gay present, also Jack Whitt, City Administrator and
City Secy. Oneida Gallagher.
The meeting was called to order by Major Hampton. The minutes
of the last regular meeting of September 14, 1965 were read and
approved as read on a motion by Councilman St . John seconded
by Councilman Wingfield.
Chief Hatfield met with Council in reference to filling the
vacancy of Patrolman Glen Swaner as of October 15, 1965. The
Council ask Chief Hatfield to fill the vanancy.
Motion by Councilman Wingfield and seconded by Counci-J9an Onstot
to pay all monthly bills . Lotion carried.
Jack Mote met with Council representing the Fire Department. He
told the Council the Fire Department voted to accept the City' s
proposal to buy a used Fire Truck.
Motion to adjourn was : ade by Councilman ,Jingfield ad seconded
by Councilman Shields . Motion carried. Meeting adjourned.
