REGULAR CO,,NCIL MEETING
December 14, 1965
The City Council met in regular session at 7:00 P. ii. December 14, 1965.
Present: Mayor Hampton. Aldermen: Shields, St. John, Wingfield and
Onstot . City Adm Jack H. Whitt and City Secy. Oneida Gallagher with
Atty. John Gay absent.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Hampton. The minutes of the
last regular meeting of November 9, 1965 were read and approved as read
on a motion by Councilman Onstot and seconded by Councilman St. John.
Motion carried.
Monthly bills were discussed and Motion cy Coancilman Shields and
seconded by Councilman St. John to pay all bills . Motion carried.
Motion was made by Councilman Jnstot and seconded by Councilman
Wingfield to appoint J. R . Story and Mayor Hampton to serve as a
committee from Wylie on the By-County Conittee for the study of new
roads in Collin county. Motion carried.
The Council asked t—e Municipal Employees Christmas Bonus be one week
pay given those who had worked one year or ore and one half week pay
given those who had worked less than one year on a motion by Council-
man Shields and seconded by Councilman Onstot. Motion carried.
The Council asked that a raise of 51100.00 per month be given City Adm.
Jack H. Whitt on a motion by Councilman St. John sod seconded by Council-
man Shields . Unanimous Ayes .
Motion by Councilman Shields and sccondcd by Council-man Onstot to a7point
Raymond Posey to serve the unexpired City Co ncil Term of Councilman
Jive Miller who moved to Dallas and resigned. Motion carried.
Motion to adjourn by Councilman :ingfield and seconded by Councilman
St. John. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned.
