REGULAR CITY CO 1CIL MEETING
January 11, 1966
The City Council met in regular session at 7 :00 P .M. January 11, 1966.
Present: : ayor Hampton. Aldermen: Onstot, Posey, hie1ds and. St. John
with Bill Wingfield absent. City Atty. John Gay, City Adm. Jack Whitt
and City Secy. Oneida Gallagher.
The meeting was calle to order by Mayor Hampton. The minutes of the
last regular meeting of December 14, 1966 were read and approved as
re' d on a motion by Councilman Onstot and seconded by Councilman
Shields . Motion carried.
Monthly bills were read and approved to be paid on a motion by Council-
man St. John and seconded by -'ouncilnan Onstot. Motion carried.
City Atty. John Gay administered the Oath of Office to Raymond rosey
to the apnointment of Alderman to fill the unexpired term of Alder-
man Dave Miller.
Jack Parker met with Council in reference to using City Tax Cards
to re-valuate School Taxes . The Council decided the School could
use the City Tax Cards and pay what they thought they were worth
to them.
Motion to adjourn was lade by Councilman Onstot and seconded by
Councilman Shields . Motion carried.
