MINUTES OF REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING
May 10. 1966
The City Council met in regular session May 10, 1966 at 7:00
P. M. Present Mayor 0. W. Hampton. Aldermen: Shields, Posey,
Wingfield, Douthitt and Tibbals. City Atty. John E. Gay, City
Adm. Jack H. Whitt and City Secy. Oneida Gallagher.
1'he minutes of the last regular meeting of April 12, 1966 were
read and approved as read on a motion by Councilman Shields
and seconded by Councilman Douthitt. Motion Carried.
Bills were read an approved to be paid on a motion by Council-
man Posey and seconded by Councilman Wingfield. Motion carried.
Motion by Councilman Wingfield and seconded by Councilman Tibbals
to authorize buying a 1960 Elgin Street-sweeper for $2,750.00
on the approval of Mayor nampton and City Adm. Jack H. Whitt.
Motion carried.
Motion to adjourn at 9:30 by Councilman Wingfield and seconded
by Councilman Douthitt. Motion carried. meeting adjourned.
