REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING
August 9, 1966
The City Council met in regular session August 9, 1966, at ?:30
P.M. Present: Mayor Hampton. Aldermen: Shields, Wingfield,
Posey and Tibbals, with Alderman Douthitt absent. City Atty.
John Gay, City Adm. Jack H. Whitt and City Secy. Oneida Gallagher.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Hampton. The minutes of the
last regular meeting of July 12, 1966 were read and approved as
read on a motion by Councilman Shields and seconded by Councilman
Wingfield. Motion carried.
Monthly bills were read and approved to be paid on a motion by
Councilman Wingfield and seconded by Councilman Posey. Motion
carried.
City Manager Jack Whitt reported on the findings or our Consult-
ant Engineers, Henningson, Durham and Richardson, on the use of
plastic pipe in the City of Wylie. They say No to the use of
plastic pipe rather than Copper pipe at this time.
Motion to adjourn by Councilman Posey and seconded by Councilman
Shields . Motion carried. meeting adjourned.
