September 13, 1966
The City Council met in regular session Sept. 13, 1966 at 7: 00 P. M.
Present: Mayor Hampton, Aldermen: Shields,Posey, Douthitt and Tibbals,
City Atty. Sohn Gay, City Adm. Jack H. Whitt and City Secy. Oneida Gallagher
The meeting r:fas called to order by Mayor Hampton. The minutes of the last
regular meeting of August 9, 1966 were read and approved as read on a motion
by Alderman Shields and seconded by Alderman Wingfield. Liotion carried.
Monthly bills were read and approved to be paid on a motion by Alderman
Posey and seconded by Alderman Douthitt. Motion carried.
Ordinance #66-1. An Ordinance ordering improvements of various Streets as
described in appendix to this ordinance; declaring said improvements to be
in the public interest; proving that the City shall pay for one-third of
said costs and for intersection; directing the City Manager to prepare
estimates; providing for assessments on the property fronting on improved
streets; provinding for method of payment of costs and declaring an emer-
gency, was read and discussed and approved to be passed on a motion by
Alderman Posey and seconded by Alderman Wingfield. Unanimous Ayes .
Ordinance # 66-2. An Ordinance approving and ddopting estimate of costs
of improvemenns and of amounts to be assedsed on prot:' oms of various
streets in the City of Wylie, Texas, said streets being outlined in an
appendix to this ordinance and making assessment of costs, was discussed
and passed on a motion by Alderman Shields and seconded by Alderman

cussed at length. The Mayor asked the Council to meet September 26, 1966
at 7:00 P. M. io approve the changes .
Motion to adjourn at 10:00 P. M. by Alderman Douthitt and seconded by
Alderman Wingfield. Meeting adjourned.
