REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING
September 12, 1967
The City Council met in regular session September 12, 1967 at 7:00 P. M.
Present: Mayor Hampton, Aldermen; Tibbals, Douthitt, Martin and Elledge,
City Manager Jack H. Whitt an.? City Secretary Oneida Gallagher, with
Alderman Mauk and City Attorney John Gay absent.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Hampton. The minutes of the
last regular meeting of August 8, 1967 and also the minutes of the
special meeting of September 8 1967 were read and approved as read
on a motion by Alderman Douthitt and sec -nded by Alderman Elledge.
Unanimous Ayes .
Monthly bills were read ana after a short discussion approved to be
paid om a motion by Alderman Tibbals and seconded by Alderman Martin.
Motion carried.
Ordinance $ 61-2
An Ordinance fixing tre t 7 rate and levy for the City of Wylie, for
the tax year 1967/ On a motion by Alderman Douthitt and seconded by
Alderman Martin; 50% of actual value and `>1.50 on each one hundred
dollars of assessed valuation was levied. On the question;
Unanimous Ayes .
Ordinance # 76-3
An Ordinance adopting and appropriating resources for the Budget
Year beginning October 1, 1967 . Motion was made by Alderman Tibbals
and seconded by Alderman Elledge that the proposed budget for 1967-
1968, totalling $155,619.00 be adopted. On the question;
Unanimous Ayes.
On motion by Alderman Do -thitt .nn:1 seconded by Alderman Elledge to
adjourn at 8:30 PM. Meeting adjourned.
