CITY COUNCIL MEETING
October 10, 1967
The City Council met in regular session October 10, 1967 at 7:00
P. M. Present; Mayor Hampton, Aldermen: Tibbals, Douthitt, Martin,Elledge
and Mauk, City Atty. John Gay, City Secretary Oneida Gallagher.
With City Manager Jack Whitt absent
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Hampton. The minutes of the
last regular meeting of September 12, 1967 were read and approved
as read on a motion by Alderman Douthitt and seconded by Alderman
Elledge. Motion carried.
Monthly bills were read and discussed, approved to be paid on a
motion by Alderman Elledge and seconded by Alderman Martin.
Motion carried.
Motion by Alderman Tibbals and seconded by Alderman Elledge asking
City Manager Jack Whitt write a letter to the Commissioners Court
asking Collin County to join the Planning Commission of the Council
of Government' s . Motion Carried.
Alderman Douthitt made motion to buy a garbage truck if City Manager
Jack Whitt approves, seconded by Alderman Mauk. Unanimous Ayes .
Motion to adjourn at 8:15 P. M. by Alderman Tibbals and seconded
by Alderman Douthitt. Motion carried. Meeting Adjourned.
