03-11-1969 (City Council) Minutes 168 Regular City Council Meeting
March 11, 1969
The City Council met in regular session, March 11, 1969, at 7:00 PM.
Present: Mayor Hall; Aldermen; Tibbals, Mauk, Martin and Elledge, City
Manager Jack Whittand City Secy. Oneida Gallagher. City Atty John Gay
absent.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Hall. "inutes of the last re-
gular meeting of February 11, 1969 were read and a-proved as read on a
motion by Alderman Tibbals and seconded by Alderman Elledge . Motion carried.
Mayor Hall certified the Candidates for Aldermen. On question if all had
lived in State for one year and City for six months, all qualified. Motion
by Alderman Tibbals and seconded by Alderman Martin, places on the Ballot
were drawn by six (6) Candidates for Aldermen. Unanimous Ayes.
Place 1 R. R. Kreymer Place 4 Charles P. Elledge
Place 2 Don R. Thomas Place 5 William E1 Martin
Place 3 John T. Addicks
To be placed upon the official ballot for election to be held on the 5th
day of April 1969, as a candidate for two years .
K. A. Mauk to placed upon the official ballot for one year, unopposed and
the is certified for the ballot.
Bills were read and approved to be paid on motion by Alderman Tibbals
and seconded by Alderman ''auk. Motion carried.
Ordinance # 69-3
An Ordinance providing for the maiitenance of certain State Highways and/or
portions of State Highways in the City of Wylie, County of Collin, Texas
hereby referred to as Municipal project and authorizing the Mayor of the
City or other authorized City Official to execute and affix the Corporation
Seal an_.3 Attest same. A certain agreement between the City and the main-
enearce project: and declaring an emergency and providing that this Or-
dinance shouln be effective from and after its passage . On Motion by
Alderman "artin and seconded by Alderman Tibbals . Unanimous Ayes .
Motion was made by Alderman Tibbals and seconded by Alderman Martin to
buy equipment for New Fire Truck in the amount of *1600.00. The old
fire truck to be used by City Water and Sewer Department. Notion carried.

Motion carried. Meeting adjourned.
