REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING
June 10, 1969
The City Council met in regular session June 10, 1969 at 7:00 PM.
Present: Mayor Hall, Aldermen; Tibbals, Mauk, Martin, Addicks and
Thomas . City Atty. John Gay and City Secy. Oneida Gallagher with
City Manager Jack H. Whitt absent.
Minutes of the last regular meeting of May 13, 1969 were read and
approved as read on a motion by Alderman Tibblas and seconded by
Alderman Martin. Motion carried.
Mr. "'assay met with Council in reference to property to be used for
trailer and sale of trailers . The Council told Mr. Massey they would
look into the Ordinance and let him know at a later date.
Bills were read and a-proved to be paid on motion by Alderman Martin
and seconded by Alderman Thomas. Motion carried.
Sewer for Jack Parker on North Ballard was discussed and tabled until
the July meeting. Motion by Alderman Addicks and seconded by Alderman
Thomas. Motion carried.
Mayor Hall set the date of July 12, 1969 from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM ...,
and also July 19, 1969 from 9:00 until 12:00 Noon at the City Hall
for the Tax Equalization Board to meet to equalize City Taxes for
the year 1969 . The Board to be appointed later.
Motion to adjourn at 9:30 PM by Alderman Tibbals and seconded by
Alderman Martin. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned.
