REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING
July 8, 1969
The City Council met in regular session July 8, 1969 at 7:00 PM.
Present:. Mayor Hall; Aldermen, Tibbals Mauk, Martin, Addicks and
Thomas; City Atty. John Gay, City Water Supt. W. A. Allen and City
Secy. Oneida Gallagher.
Minutes of the last regular meeting of June 10, 1969 and also of
Special meeting of June 16, 1969 were read and approved as read on
motion by Alderman Martin and seconded by Alderman Tibbals. All Ayes.
Bills were read and approved to be paid on Motion by Alderman Addicks
and secomded by Alderman Thomas . Motion carried.
The Council voted to set meeting time from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
Jack Parker met with Coumcil in reference to sewer line on North Ballard.
After lengthy discussion by Couhcil, Motion by Alderman Addicks and
seconded by Alderman Thomas to install the line at a cost of approximately
$300.00 to City. Motion carried.
Motion by Alderman Tibbals and seconded by Alderman Martin to ask Mayor
Hall to make a reasonable agreement with Chambers Bros . on Street work
and pay the bill that we owe. Motion carried.
Motion wasrrade by Alderman Mauk and seconded-by Alderman Thomas to take
....
$5.00 from Judge McClure' s pay since he does not have a private office
any more. Motion carried.
Motion to adjourn at 10:30 PM by Alderman Addicks and seconded by Ald-
erman Mauk. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned.
