a`. The City Councia met in regular session October 14, 1969 at 7:30 PM.
Present; o:ayor Hall; Aldermen; Martin, Addicks, Mauk and Thomas . City
Att; . John Gay; City Mgr. Jimmy Mat: is; Water Supt. W. A. Allen and
City Secy. Oneida Gallagher, with Alderman Tibbals absent.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor tall . i;`inutes of the last
regular meeting cf Sept. 9, 1969 and also tie minutes of Special meeting
of Sept. 16, 1969 were read and approved as read on motion by Alderman
Mauk and seconded by Alderman Thomas . notion carried.

Ordinance # 69-11
Ar Ordinance of the C 'ty of Wylie, Texas providing for the creation of an
Auxiliary Police Unit; Fixing qualifications for appointhenta:; requiring
Oath and Bond; authorizing uniforms and badge; fixing command authority
of Chief of Police; providing for powers and duties of Auxiliary; carry-
ing of weapons; integration of Auxiliary with reguala2vpolice force; pro-
viding for chief of Auxiliary unit and fixing his duties; prescribing a
penalty; and declaring a severability clause . Motion by Alderman Addicks
and seconded by Alderman Thomas. Motion carried.
Motion by Alderman Martin and seconder by Alderman Thomas to have a
Mercury Vapor Street Light on FM 51111 andStpnd 8 ;. Motion carried.
Appointment:
The Council voted to appoint a member on the Libary Board to replace
Mrs . `Jan Collins, who moved from the City. The Council appointed
Virginia Collins, Alternates Peggy Thomas and Ann Martin.
Motion by Alderman Thomas and seconded by Alderman Addicks to replace
A. J. MClure as City Municipal Judge. Reason want of confidence .
Motion Unanimous .
The Council ask City Mgr. Jimmy Mathis to act as Municipal Judge until
one could be appointed.
Street sweeper was discussed by Council.
Meeting adjourned at 11:10 PM.
