10-30-1969 (City Council) Minutes SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
October 30, 1969
The City Council met in special session October 30, 1969 at
7r30 PM for the purpose of considering and authorizing the
Mayor the authority to execute a note with the First State
Bank at Wylie, Texas, to retire the outstanding indebtedness
of the Street Paving Program.
Presentr Mayor Hall; Aldermen, Tibbals, Mauk Martin, Thomas
and Addicks; City Manager Jimmy Mathis and City Secretary
Oneida Gallagher.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Hall.
Mayor Hall read a Resolution by the City Council of the City
of Wylie, Texas, Authorizing the Mayor to execute the Note
in the amount of Sixteen Thousant 416000.00) for a period
of eleven (11) Months. Said obligation to bear interest at
the rate of eight per cent (8%) per annum, on behalf Of the
City, payable to the First State Bank of Wylie, Texas. On
the question motion by Alderman Addicks and seconded by
Alderman Tibbals. Unanimous Ayes.
Motion to adjourn at 8r00 PM by Alderman Tibbals and seconded
by Alderman Mauk. Meeting adjourned.
