11-11-1969 (City Council) Minutes 1 8 2 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING
November 11, 1969
The City Council met in regular session November 11, 1969 at 7r30 PM.
Present; Mayor Hall; Aldermen: Martin, Mauk, Addicks and Tibbals. City
Atty. John Gay; Water Supt. W. A. Allen; City Secy. Oneida Gallagher.
With City Mgr. jimmy Mathis and Alderman Thomas absent.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Hall. Minutes of the last regular
meeting of Oct. 14, 1969 and also minutes of Special meeting of October 20,
1969 and October 30, 1969 were read and approved as read on motion by Alder-
man Mauk and seconded by Alderman Tibbals. Motion carried.
Bill Williamson with Lone Star Gas Co. met with Council to ask for a 16.29
percent increase in Gas rates. After a lengthy discussion the Council ask
for more time to study the increase.
Bobby King met with council re reference to a parking zone on W. Marble St.
for the Wylie Flower Shop. The Council on motion by Alderman Mauk and sec.
by Alderman Addicks to designate a space since they do not have a back door.
Motion carried.
Motion by Alderman Tibbals and- seconded by Alderman Addicks to move City
limits back 1/2 mile on Hi-Way 78 -South to comply with the State Law.
Motion carried. Council ask Atty. Gay to revise Ordinance #69-5 to this •
law and get in touch with Mr. Baker, Atty. for Sachse.
Richard Nance owner of the Colonial Acres Estates, Wylie Collin County,
Texas, asked that the plat be approved by the City Council of Wylie, Texas. —�
Motion to approve the plat by Alderman Mauk and seconded by Alderman
Tibbals. Unanimous Ayes.
Bills were read and discussed and approved to be paid on motion by Alderman
Tibbals qn seconded by Alderman Martin. Motion carried.
Motion to adjourn by Alderman Tibbals n.nd seconded by Alderman Martin.
Motion carried. Meeting adjourned.
