SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
December 4, 1969
The City Council mat in Special session December 4, 1969 at 7:30 PM.
Present; Mayor Hall; Councilmen Mauk, Tibbals, Martin, Thomas and
Addicks. City Manager Jimmy Mathis.
Meeting was called to order by Mayor Hall.
Personal problems :within the Police Department were discussed and
resulted in the following action. Motion was made by Alderman
Thomas and seconded by Alderman Addicks to accept the resignation
of Chief of Police Archie Hatfield, effective December 5, 1969
as requested by the City Manager and to allow payment of $529.30
less payroll deductions to Mr. Hatfield.
All members voted Yes on the motion.,
There being no further business the meeting was declared adjourned«
