December 9, 1969
The City Council met in regular session December 9, 1969 at 7:.30 PM.
Present Mayor Hall. Aldermen ; Addicks, Mauk, Martin and Thomas. City Mgr.
" "' Mathis, City Atty. John Gay, Water Supt. W. A. Allen and 0. Gallagher.
Meeting was called to order by Mayor Hall.
Roy Moore met with Council fn reference to Ambulance Service.After discussion
Council told Mr. Moore they would act later waiting for more information.
Mr. Hackett met with Council in ref. to zoning and annexation of 35 acres
on HiWay 78 South to the City of Wylie, Texas, for a Mobil Park. On motion
by Ald. Addicks and seconded by Alderman Mauk to give Mr. Hackett a con-
ditional annexation approval subject to the Planning & Zoning Commission
approval. All Ayes.
Mr. & Mrs. Rash met with Council in reference to Zoning :end Annexing 70
acres ,tom // West 544 to the city of Wylie, Texas for a Mobil Home Park.
After an informal discussion motion by Alderman Thomas and seconded by Ald.
Mauk to grant a conditional approval subj . to Planning and Zoning Com-
mission. Unanimous Ayes.
Alley Paving: Story, St. John, Douthitt Elledge and Boyd met with Council
in reference to paving Alley and parking lot behind their places of business.
After discussion City was asked to get cost from Chambers Bros.
Minutes from the last regular meeting of November 11, 1969 and also Special
meeting of November 20, 1969 and December 4, 1969 were read and approved as
read on motion by Ald. Thomas and seconder' by Al. Addicks . Motion carried.
Bills were read and approved to be paid on motion by Alderman Martin and
seconded by Alderman Mauk. Motion carried.
The dis-anneation of Ordinance 69-13 on the 1/2 Mile on Hwy. 78 South and
the Annexation of same Ordinance 69-111. was to be drawn up by Atty. Gay.
Water for the Wylie Cemetery was discussed and tabled until Co.iincil
could talk to authorities about same.
Motion by Alderman Tibbals and seconded by Alderman Martin to pay all
regular Municipal Employees one week pay for Xmas Bonus. Motion carried.
Mayor Hall called a special meeting for Tuesday December 16, 1969 at 7:30
PM for the purpose of orginazing an advisary board for the City of Wylie.
Motion to adjourn by Alderman Mauk and seconded by Alderman Tibbals.
Motion carried. Meeting adjourned.
