The City Council met in special session January 20, 1970 for the purpose
of discussiong the purchase of 4.0 acres of land for Sanitary Landfill
and the purchase of a building to house City Hall, Police Sta. & Library.
Present: Mayor Hall, Aldermen Addicks, Martin, Thomas & Mask. City
Manager Jimmy Mathis.
After a length discussion there was no action taken on these matters
other than the costs envolved. Meeting adjourned

SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING January 26, 1970
This meeting was called to further discuss the purchase of property for
the use of the City of Wylie. It was decided to allow the City Manager
authority to make a contract for the purchase of a Traxivator to be used
by the City in its Sanitary Landfill operation. The purchase of a build-
ing to house the City Hall was discussed, bu no dicision to purchase same.
The offer to purchase 40 acres of land to be used in the landfill operation
was discussed and it was decided to leave the present offer as is.
Present:- Hall Martin, Addicks Thomas and Mathis.

February 2, 1970
Present: Mayor Hall, Aldermen; Mauk, Tibbals, Addicks, Thomas and Martin;
City Manager Jimmy Mathis.
This meeting was called for the purpose of discussing the purchase of
property a^d it was decided that the City would not proceed on the
lease of 10 acres of land fro<r the Rogers Family. It was agreed to
have Water Quality Representative present eor next Regular Council
meeting if possible.
