The City Council met in Special Session at 6:00 PM, April 24, 1970
to consider appointments for the office of City Attorney, Library
Board and Municipal Court Judge.
Present: Mayor Hackler; Aldermen; Dodd, Mauk, Addicks and Thomas
with Alderman Martin absent. City Manager Jimmy Mathis .
Motion by Alderman Addicks and seconded by Alderman Thomas to
give Mayor nackler power to appoint a City Attorney for the City
of Wylie. Motion carried.
motion by Alderman Addicks and seconded by Alderman Thomas to
appoint Harry Tibbals, Jr. for a two (2) year term on the Library
Board. Motion carried.
`-potion by Alderman Sauk and seconded by Alderman Dodd to appoint
Wade W. Barker as Municipal Court Judge . i. otion carried.
Mayor Hackler called a Special meeting for Tuesday, April 28, 1970
at 7:00 Pr to meet with H.D. & R. Engineers to discuss further
the preliminary plans for City Sewer System.
