REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING
AUGUST 11, 1970
The City Council met in regular session August 11, 1970 at 7 :30 PM.
in City Hail. Present Mayor Hackler; Alderman Martin, Addicks,
Mauk, Dodd. City Atty. Bob Baker, City Ma ager Mathis and City
Secy. Oneida Gallagher.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor hackler. The minutes of
the last regular meeting of July 14, 1970 and also special meeting
of July 20, 1970 were read and approved as read on Motion by Alderman
Addicks and seconded by Alderman iauk. Motion carried.
H. M. Miller met with Council asking for a varance to :: the front yard
depth on Lot 68-69, Block 11, N. Keller Addn. After discussion.
Council decided to accept the Planning and Zoning Boards decision on
motion by Alderman Mauk and seconded by Alderman Addicks to go ahead
with their building as directed by the Board. All Ayes .
Motion by Alderman Addicks and seconded by Alderman Mauk to accept
all four (J ) Resolutions presented by Mr. Phelps with HD &R for Sewer
Improvement Program.
On motion by Alderman Dodd and seconded by Alderman Addicks to
authorize a survey to be made on Martinez property. All Ayes.
Mayor Hackler called a Special meeting for Tuesday, August 25, 1970
at 7:30 PM to discuss the 1970-71 Budget for the City of Wylie and
to set a date for The Sewer Improvement Bond Election. --.
Robert L. Pearce with Henningson, Durham and Richardson explained the
changes to be made before the Council could give their approval to
start building on Block A and B of Lavon Terrace Addition. Mayor

platting when changes have been completed.
Monthly bills were read and approved to be paid on motion by Alderman
Dodd and seconded by Alderman Mauk. Motion carried.
