SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
October 20, 1970
The City Council met in special session Tuesday 20, 1970 at 7:30 in City
Hail . Present: Mayor Hackler; Aldermen, Martin, Addicks, Thomas, Mauk
and Dodd; City Mgr. Mathis; City Secy. Oneida Gallagher.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Hackler.
Two bids on the New Police Car was received and read by r-por Hackler.
CHRYSLER-PLYM-`'OUTI- , INC . OF DALLAS $ 3,388.17
SOUTH EST CHRYSLER-PLY1:0 TH, OF DALLAS 3,226.45
Motion to accept the bid of Chrysler-Plymouth, by Alderman Addicks and
seconded by Alderman Martin. Unanimous Ayes.
Radio for Police car was discussed.
Council passed the Industrial Waste Ordinance # 70-1 on motion by Ald.
Dodd and seconded by Ald. Thomas . All Ayes .
Council on motion by Aid. Addicks and seconded by Ald. Mauk to proceed with
with annexing 134 feet by 40 feet being a part of the S. B. Shelby Survey
given to the City of Wylie, by the Texas Power and Light Co. All Ayes .
Council on motion by Ald. Addicks and seconded by Ald. Martin to proceed with
the annexing 40 Acres of Land South of Wylie, Texas, the Sanitary Landfill
Property to the City of Wylie. All Ayes.
Motion by Ald. Martin and seconded by Ald. Thomas to draw up an agreement
for Mobil Home Park Ordinance to require tie down on Mobil Homes . All Oyes.
Council ask City Manager Mathis to have a new Ordinance drawn-up on Water
and Sanitary rates for Mobil Homes . Unanimous Ayes.
Motion by Ald. Dodd and seconde . by Ald. Thomas to buy a new RCA Radio for
Police Car. Model CM FF 7, 0: a EL-500 Series in the amount of $1,003.00.
