REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MTEETING
December 8, 1970
The City Council met i- regular session December 8, 1970 in City --�
Hall at 7:30 PM. Present; mayor =tackler; Aldermen: Martin, Mauk,
Addicks and Thomas ; City Mgr. iatlhis ; ,pater Supt. Alen; City Atty.
Baker; City Secy. Gallagher. With Alderman Dodd absent.
The meeting was called to order by I Mayor Hackler. The minutes of
the last regular meeting of November 10, 1970 were read and approved
as read on motion by Ald. Thomas and seconded by Ald. Addicks . All Ayes.
Mr. C. L. Moon, Engineer for Melvin K. St John, on the Wylwood Sub-
division Install ent # 3, and Bob Pearce and Frank Razor with HDMR
En i�Leers for the City of Wylie met with Council to give their re-
commendations for development of the subdivision. Motion by Aid.
Thomas and seconded by Ald. Martin to accept HDDR' s recomendations .
Motion carried.
Motion by Alderman Thomas and seconded by Ald. Addicks to accept
Ordinance # 70-16, Annexing 69.25 acres of land to the City of Wylie.
Unanimous Ayes .
A report wa: given by Mr. Cline with W ter Talk Service Company on
the condition of the elevated water storage tank. hotion by Alderman
Addicks and seconded by Alderman Thomas to accept the contract drawn
by Mr. Cline, trey agreed to sand blast and touch-up inside of tank
and paint the Tower at the cost of 4;5,970.00. Unanimous Ayes .
House numbering map was discussed and approved on motion by Alderman
Ito ,es n seccrded by Alderman Mauk for the City of Wylie. All Ayes.
Council discussed New Subdivision Ordinance .
-a, or heckler made a report on meeting with Water Quality Board at
Austin, Texas .
A letter from NTMWD concerning Regional Sewer was reported on by
Mayor Hackler to Council.
Motion by Alderman Mauk and seconded by Alderman Thomas to allow a
Xmas Bonus of 1 weeks pay to all Municipal Employees . Unanimous Ayes .

City Utility Employees t e acreage of the Sanitary Landfill not in
use for 150.00 per year. They would fix fences and care for acreage .
Unanimous Ayes .
A letter from Mr. Davis, Mayor of Sachse, was read by i ayor Heckler,
in reference to refuse disposal . Council is to look into the tatter

' otion by Alderman artiri and seconded by Alderman Mauk to hold
trio (2) regular Council meetings per month, beginning January
1_, 1971 instead of one (1 ) . heetings will be held on 2nd and
4th Tuesdays . All Ayes .
Council on motion by Alderman Addicks and seconded by Alderman
Thomas to make a donitation of 4 100.00 for the Wylie Band for a
trip to Houston to appear in the Blue Bonoett Game . All Ayes .
Alderman Thomas had several items on 2,genda for Reports . City

Motion to adjourn at 11: 30 PM b; Alderman Thomas and seconded
