RUGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
February 23, 1971
The City Council met in regular session February 23, 1971 in City
Hall at 7:30 PM. Present; Mayor Hackler; Aldermen; Martin, Addicks,
Thomas, Mauk and Dodd. Water Supt. Allen City Mgr. Jimmy Mathis and
Secy. Oneida Gallagher.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Hackler.
Utility rates for Mobil Home Parks and Aparttients was discussed
and on motion by Alderman Addicks and seconded by Alderman Dodd
to be tabled until City Manager could check with other towns about
their charges . All Ayes.
Council on motion by Alderman Mauk and seconded by Alderman Addicks
to pay $50.00 dues to East Texas Chamber of Commerce . All Ayes.
Water line easement discussed and tabled until next regualr meeting
and try to have Mr. Collins and Mr. Martinez present.
Motion by Alderman Dodd and seconded by Alderman Addicks to appoint
Mrs. Mary Parker to fill the vacancy on the Library Board. All Ayes..
Personnel was discussed.
An Ordinance aut/ orizing the issuance of 300,000 "CITY OF WYLIE,
TEXAS, WATERA ORKS AND SEWER SYSTEM REVENUE BONDS, SERIES 1971,"
dated March 1, 1971, for the purpose of improving and extending
the Cityts Sanitary Sewer System. Alderman Addicks made a
motion that the Ordinance be passed and seconciect by Alderman
Martin. Unanimous Ayes.
