mayor hackler; Aldermen; Dodd, Mauk and Thomas . City
Manager Mathis . Mr. William Higdon met with Council
for an interview.

The City Council met in special session in City Hail at
7:0U PM, to discuss personnel. Present; Mayor nackler;
Aldermen; Martin, Dodd, Mauk, Addicks and Thomas; City
Manager Mathis .
On Motion by Alderman Dodd and seconded by Alderman Mauk
to hire 0. C. Blanks as Chief of Police for the City or
Wylie, at a salary of $700.00 per month, starting March
10, 1971. Unanimous Ayes.
Motion to adjourn by Alderman Dodd and seconded by Alder-
man Mauk. All Ayes.
