SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
APRIL 22, 1971
The City Council met in special session in City Hall at 7:30 P.M.
Present: Mayor Hackler; Aldermen: Dodd, Mauk, Addicks and Davis;
City Manager Mathis, Water Supt. !. A. Allen. Alderman Thomas
and City Secy. 0. Gallagher absent.
Frank Razor with HD & R met with Council in reference to the New
Sewer Improvements work orders .
Motion by Alderman Addicks and seconded by Alderman Mauk to go
ahead with work orders 3,405,6 & 7. Unanithous Ayes .
Motion by Alderman Dodd and seconded by Alderman Addicks on the
recommendations of HD & 0 to award bid on new sewer improvements
to low bidder, Apex Inc. of Onley, Texas, in the amount of
24,475.00. Unanimous Ayes.
Motion by Alderman Dodd and seconded by Alderman Davis to purchase
approximately 2000 feet of 6 inch Sewer Pipe and other fittings.
All Ayes .
Council voted on motion by Alderman Addicks and seconded by
Alderman Mauk to charge ?;9.00 permit plus S.50 per yard for
Commercial Trucks to dump at City Sanitary Landfill. All Ayes .
Motion by Alderman irlauk and seconded by Alderman Dodd on a 30
day extention to Water Quality Board for the proposed improvements.
Unanimous Ayes .
