Regular City Council Meeting
October 25, 1971
The City Council met in regular session in City Hall at 7:30 PM
on Monday, October 25, 1971.
Present; Mayor Hackler, Aldermen; Dodd, Davis, Thomas, Addicks
and Mauk: City Manager Mathis; City Secretary Oneida Gallagher,
and Chief of Police Blanks.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Hackler.
First on Agenda on motion by Alderman Dodd and seconded by Alderman
Addicks to reject plat for Addition to Colonial Acres and ask that
they meet the Sub-Division Ordinanca #71-11. All Ayes. Council
also ask that we start charging filing plat fees.
Motion to approve Ordinance 471-15 in reference to truck traffic
on N. Jackson Street, was mad7e`By Alderman Addicks and seconded
by Alderman Mauk. All Ayes. Refuse for Electro Extraction was
discussed and Council decided to take all refuse for a 30 day
trial basis on motion by Alderman Addicks and seconded by Alderman
Mauk. All Ayes.
Council voted to release utility easement on Raymond and Randall
Cooper land on motion by Alderman Davis ans seconded by Alderman
Thomas. Unanimouse Ayes.
Sachse City Limits; Motion by Alderman Addicks and seconded by
Alderman Mauk to send two Aldermen, Dodd and Thomas, to meet with
the Sachse City Council, Tuesday, OCTOBER 26, 1971, in behalf
of the City of Wylie City Limits. Unanimous Ayes.
Motion to adjourn by Alderman Addicks and seconded by Alderman
Mauk.
