01-11-1972 (City Council) Minutes e REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING JANUARY 11, 1972 •u._. The City Council met in regular session in City Hall at 7:30 PM. Present: Mayor Hackler; Aldermen Addicks, Dodd, Davis and Mauk. Water Supt. Allen, Police Chief Blanks, and City Secy. Oneida Gallagher. With Alderman Thomas absent. The metting was called to order by Mayor Hackler. Lee Birkett met with Council in reference to Street and alley drainage. Council wanted to check with State Hwy. maps on this property. Council discussed the acceptance of W. Kirby Street to the City of Wylie. Council asked for the dedication deeds on Plat of this property before deciding. Council ask Atty. Baker to draw up a new strip annexation East of Wylie. City Maps for City Limits, Zoning, and water lines were discussed and Council asked to have City engineers to up-date the Wylie City map. Ordinance 72-1: An ordinance approving a 6/ rate increase by TP&L. in the City of Wylie. Motion by Ald. Addicks and seconded by Ald. Mauk. Unanimous Ayes. Sanitary landfill charges were discussed and tabled until a further study was made. Motion by Ald. Davis and seconded by Ald. Mauk to have an ordinance written in order to limit accessory metal buildings move in to 120 sq. ft. All Ayes. Motion by Ald. Dodd ' and seconded by Ald. Mauk to allow a metal building to be moved in by Jim Wolf with the understanding they would like for them to put a stockade fence around it. All Ages. A new police car was discussed by council. They asked Chief Blanks to check prices. Little League Baseball was discussed. Council asked that wrecked cars at White' s Body Shop to be checked. Minutes of last regular council meeting of December 15, 1971, were read and approved as read on motion by ald. Mauk and seconded by Ald. Addicks. Motion carried. Motion by Ald. Addicks and seconded by Ald. Dodd to approve the -- expenditures for Dec. Motion carried. Motion by Ald. Dodd and seconded by Ald. Mauk to adjourn. Motion carried. C. W.
