Regular City Council Meeting
February 21, 1972
The City Council met in regular session in City Hall at 7:30PM.
Monday, February 21, 1972. Present Mayor Hackler; Aldermen; Addicks,
Mauk, Davis, Dodd, and Thomas. Water Supt. W. A. Allen, Chief of Police
Blanks, City Secy. Oneida Gallagher.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Hackler.
Mr. Phillips met with Council to ask for approval of 3rd Installment
of Holiday Terrace. Council ask that he present a new plat to council
They would act at next regular meeting.
Bob Smith with Electro Ext. met with Council in reference to paving
Kirby Street west to Electro Ext. and Stovall Tallow Co. Motion
by Ald. Mauk and seconded by Aid. Addicks to call a meeting of all
property owners for further discussion. Motion carried.
Mr. Smith also met with Council in reference to Sanitary Landfill

Council on motion by Ald. Davis and seconded by Ald. Thomas to have
HD&R to prepare an up-dated base map and city limits map, zoning
map, and water system map of the City of Wylie. Unanimous Ayes.
Motion by Ald. Davis and seconded by Ald. Thomas for Mayor Hackler to
appoint Mary Townsend on the Library Board to replace Virginia
Collins. Motion Carried.
Street repair, Insurance, City Judge, Fire Marshall was tabled
for more information.
Motion by Ald. Davis and seconded by Ald. Addicks for Mayor Hackler
to attend Texas Water Quality Board Meeting in Austin on March 16,
1972. All Ayes.
Frank Razor, Engineer for HD&R met with council to give an up-dated
report on Sewer System.
