REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
JULY 11, 1972
The City Council met in regular session in City Hall at 7:30_ PM. °July 11,
1972.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Hackler. Present: Aldermen,
Dodd, Addicks, Thomas, Christopher, and Davis. City Mgr. Woodard, Water
Supt. Allen, Chief of Police Blanks, and City Secy. Oneida Gallagher.
City Atty. Bob Baker absent.
Mr. Haygood with H.D. & R. presented a water supply study to City Council
on water tower, storage, and lines.
Motion by Alderman Dodd and seconded by Alderman Thomas to accept a Computer
Billing program for Water, Sewer, and Sanitation bills presented by Larry
Stroud of Warrex Computer Service. All Ayes.
A public hearing on Annexation was held with no opposition from the public.
This will be further discussed at the next regular Council meeting when
our Atty. would be present.
Minutes of the June Council meetings were approved on motion by Ald. Dodd
and seconded by Ald. Thomas. Motion carried.
Motion by Ald. Thomas and seconded by Ald. Addicks to approve the expenditures
for June. All Ayes. .�
Ad Valorem taxes were discussed.
Mayor Hackler appointed Danny Cryer, City Fire Marshall to replace E. J.
Hendrix, who resigned. Motion by Ald. Thomas and seconded by Ald. Christopher
to accept the Mayor' s appointment. All Ayes.
Meeting adjourned at 9:15.
