REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
SEPTEMBER 12, 1972
The City Council met in regular session in City Hall at 7:30 PM. Present:
,.�. Mayor Hackler, Aldermen Dodd, Addicks, Thomas and Christopher; City Mgr.
Woodard, Chief of Police Blanks, and City Secy. Oneida Gallagher, with
Ald. Davis absent.
A Public Hearing on city limits between Wylie and St. Paul was held.
Raymond Posey and William Martin were the only interested land owners
present.
Motion by Ald. Addicks and seconded by Aid. Christopher to table a decision
until a letter could be sent to all property owners and then call another
meeting. All Ayes.
Motion by Ald. Thomas and seconded by Ald. Christopher to approve contract
with Santa Fe Railroad for Sewer line easement. A payment of $750.00 when
started and $300.00 per year. All Ayes.
Motion by Ald. Dodd and seconded by Ald. Addicks to approve inclusion of
Waterworks Imp. in contract with H. D. & R. All Ayes.
Council ask City Mgr. Woodard to check with Highway Dept. and discuss the
possibility of paving Kirby Street and prices and also prices for street to
Cementary.
Motion by Ald. Addicks and seconded by Ald. Thomas to approve NTMWD
application for construction of Sludge Lagoons. All Ayes.
Minutes of the August Council meetings were approved on motion by Ald.
Thomas and seconded by Ald. Christopher. Motion carried.
Monthly expenditures were approved to be paid on .motion by Aid. Thomas
and seconded by Ald. Christopher. Motion Carried.
The 1972-73 Budget was discussed and approved as presented on motion by
Ald. Addicks and seconded by Ald. Thomas. Unanimous Ayes. 'Ti .:-4 "
Dog Pound was discussed and ask City Mgr. to check with Plano and report
back to City Council at next regular Council meeting in reference to using
their facilities.
Meeting adjourned at 9:00 o'clock on motion by Ald. Thomas and seconded
by Ald. Christopher. All Ayes. Meeting adjourned.
