SPECIAL SESSION MEETING ON JANUARY 30, 1973
The City Council met in Special Called Session in the City Hall on
-- January 30, 1973 at 7:30 PM. Present: Mayor Hackler, Ald. Addicks,
Thomas, Christopher and Davis, City Mgr. Woodard, W. A. Allen, School
Supt. Don Whitt, School Assessor-Collector Melvin Douthitt, Richard
Cope and Wallace Cope.
Mr. Richard Cope explained to the council the objects and methodology
of a tax revaluation which could be done by his firm. The pros and
cons of such a project were discussed and the Council authorized the
taking of bids for the service.
The meeting adjourned at 10:30 PM.
