SPECIAL SESSION
April 5, 1975
The City Council met in Special Session on April 5, 1975 in City Hall at
7:30 PM. The meeting was called of order by Mayor Thomas. Present were
Mayor Thomas, Aldermen Dodd, Nall, Butler, Martin and City Manager Woodard.
Alderman Dwayne Boyd was absent.
Alderman Butler moved the adoption of the following resolution. There
came on to be considered the returns of an election held on the 5th day
of April, 1975, for electing the hereinafter named officials and it
appearing from said election returns, duly and legally made, that there
were cast at said election 242 votes; that each candidate received the
following votes:
Aldermen: William Martin 189
Dwayne Boyd 187
Stan Shively 156
John Addicks 77
Joe Douthitt 75
R. S. Posey 2
THEREFORE be it resolved; that said election was held according to law
and that William Martin, Dwayne Boyd and Stan Shively were duly elected
Aldermen for the City of Wylie, Texas.
Motion seconded by Alderman Dodd and passed unanimously.
