04-03-1976 (City Council) Minutes SPECIAL SESSION
APRIL 3, 1976
The City Council met in Special Session on April 3, 1976, at 7:30 PM
in the City Hall. Present were Mayor Don Thomas, Aldermen Stan Shively,
Kenneth Nall, William Martin and. City Manager Dennis Woodard. Absent
were R. C. Dodd and. Dwayne Boyd.
Votes cast in the City Officers election of April 3, 1976, were
canvassed with the following results:
For Mayor: R. C. Dodd 205
For Alderman: Kenneth Nall 185
Patrick Minihan 164
Belva Addicks 70
Motion was made by Alderman Martin as to declare R. C. Dodd elected
as Mayor, and Kenneth Nall and Patrick Minihan elected as Aldermen.
Motion seconded by Alderman Shively and passed.
Meeting adjourned at 8:00 PM.
