11-28-1976 (City Council) Minutes Special Council Meeting
November 28, 1976
The Wylie City Council met in Special Session on November 28, 1976, at
7:00 PM in the City Hall. Present were Mayor William Martin, Aldermen
Nall, Shively, Boyd, Minihan and Thomas, City Manager Dennis Woodard.
Mayor Martin read a letter of resignation from the City Manager. Alder-
man Nall moved to accept the resignation. Second by Alderman Boyd. All
ayes. The Mayor instructed advertisement of the position be made and
appointed Alderman Nall, Boyd and Thomas to serve as a screening Committee.
City Manager Woodard was to ask Bobby King to serve as City Judge at
$100.00 per month and report at the next meeting.
Mayor Martin appointed the following committees to serve in the absence
of a City Manager. Alderman Nall and the Mayor responsible for City
offices; Alderman Shively and Minihan responsible for Police Department;
Aldermen Thomas and. Boyd responsible for Public Works.
Alderman Shively moved to adjourn at 8:45. Second by Alderman Boyd.
All ayes.
