Special City Council Meeting
June 27 , 1978
7 : 00 P.M.
The meeting was called to order at 7 : 00 P.M. by Mayor Akin.
The invocation was given by Alderman Minihan.
Resolution 1977- 78-6- 1 . Proclaming The Week of July 1st , to
July 14th as Beautification Weeks . Resolution accepted as
presented.
Parks $ Recreation Board Recommendations on Park Sites . Alderman
Minihan brought the Council up to date on the land that the
Parks Board is now looking at for the new Park site to be built
in Wylie.
Appointment of the Houseing Board of Appeals members . Mayor Akin
ask City Manager Denton Miller to approach the Planning & Zoning
Board members about serving on this Board also.
Contract with H. D. & R. for the engineering services on Martinez
Lane . Motion was made by Councilwoman Kent to accept this contract .
Seconded by Alderman Ratcliff. Motion carried all in favor.
Adjourned into exective session.
