February 12, 1980
Present were Mayor John Akin, Mayor Pro-Tem Roy Hall , Councilmen Don Hughes ,
Rowland Kreymer, and 'William Martin , City Manager Tony Fr<�nt 'n , City Secretary
Sarah Connelly, City Attorney Ted Kent, Chief-of-Police Rey Randolph and Mrs.
Randolph, Officer Eddie Timbrell , Mr. & Mrs. Bob Hogan , Frank Pisor, and

Buddy Plasters and Larry Allen.
Ivocation was given by Mayor Akin , who called meeting to order at 7:00 n.m.
Mayor Pro-Tem Hall made motion to approve previous minutes and monthly bills ,
seconded by Councilman Martin, all in favor.
Chief Randolph introduced officer Timbrell to the Council . Officer Timbrell
previously worked for Plano Police Department for 6 years.
Mayor Pro--Tem Hall made mention to adopt Ordinance ;F79--28 removing landfill
fee for non-commercial residents. Seconded by Councilman Kreymer, all in -
favor.
Councilman Hughes made motion approving engineering contract for "701" Plan-
ning Grant Study, with Hogan & Rasor, Inc. Mayor Pro-Tem Hall seconded, all
in favor.
Frank Rasor of Ho, n & Rasor, presented revised plans for water system to
Council . It was r commended that Council meet again on February 26 for
awarding bids with Engineers , Contractors and Financial Advisors.
City Manager Franzen informed the Council that the park grant was at a stand-
still in Austin at this time.
Council requested that an ordinance amending subdivision ordinance be drawn
up for next Council meeting.
Larry Allen presented fire department rdurt to Council . Chief Randolph also
presented Police Report. Council asked th�t a policy on sick leave be avail AIM
-
able for consideration at next meeting due to ac :punt of sick leave taken dur-
ing first quarter.

Meeting was adjourned into executive session at 8:45 n.m.
Council reconvened and Councilman Martin made motion to install 2 inch water
line across Kirby before 1=M 544 is extended. Counci l u ,an Kreyrier seconded
and all in favor.
Councilman Martin made motion to adjourn, seconded by Councilman Hughes. All
in favor.
