Present were Mayor John Akin, Mayor Pro-Tem Roy Hall , Councilmen Don
Hughes , Rowland Kreymer, Pat Minihan, William Martin, City Manager
Tony Franzen, City Secretary Sarah Connelly, Paul Bassett, Sr . ,
Citizens from Holiday Terrace III Addition.
Invocation was given by Mayor John Akin.
fter considerable discussion on apartment complex being constructed
t Birmingham and Kirby. Mayor Pro-Tem Hall made motion to recind
otion made at regular council meeting on March 11 , 1980 "for City
taff not to issue any further building permits for that location
until a further study is made of ordinances ." Councilman Martin
seconded the motion. All in favor. Mr. Melvin McEA4en wanted to go
on record as being opposed to the apartments being built at that
location.
Councilman Minihan made motion to adjourn into executive session, all
in favor.
