02-15-1943 (City Council) Minutes Feb. 15, 1943 The City Council of the City met Feb 15 in the City Hall with all members present. Minutes were read and approved. Pictures of men of Wylie and the surrounding territory who are now in the service were discussed a committee was appointed to look into the matter. Those on the committee were RR Addingten, Dan Willis, Glen Daniel, E Housewright and Rita Gallagher. A motion was made by Claude Housewright and seconded by D. Willis that five alarm be put on the out side. The matter would be looked into before final decision was made. It was decided to garage the fire truck at Bunch's garage. The Mayor ordered an election on the l st Tuesday in April to elect three Alderman Mary Beth Williams was appointed as judge of said election. It was voted to take up City Bonds which were for sale. Motion was made by Claude Housewright and seconded by RJ Hall. The Treasurer reported $2788.85 in the general fund $5763.18 in sinking fund.
