04-15-1933 (City Council) Minutes Minutes of City Council Meeting Held April 15, 1933
The council meet on the above date.The minutes of last meeting were read and aproved.
The canvasing of the election of April 4, 1933, the following were declared elected,J.C.Jennings
Alderman,J.N. Callaway Alderman, Homer Brurch Alderman after which the mayor made the following
apointment. A. Brown mayor pro tem,J.C.Jennings water collection,J.N. Callaway street commisioner,
Home Brurch supervisor of sewers. W.T. Duncan as attorney and Ray Jones as water sip. Was moved and
sec to vote a thanks to out going Alderman, motion carried.
J.A. Hammett reported that he had collected around 18.00 for past month.
Was moved and sec to aply 591.40 to Hall and Hall to apply on bond instead of Int, motion carried.
Was moved and sec to exempt the street light bill, motion carried.
Was moved and sec to allow the following Bills,
Fire department donation 10.00
Gamon Meter Co meter 45.00
TP & L Co street light(monthly) 39.00
TP & L Co pump station 40.40
TP & L Co waply on bal 100.00
Wylie Herald printing 6.00
Tom Long labor 6.55

A. Brown labor 5.25
J.R.Jones salary 60.00
N.A. Smuhui (?)gas and oil 1.70
