06-15-1932 (City Council) Minutes Minutes of City Council Meeting Held June 15, 1932
City council met on above date with all members present except alderman Hillis. Minutes of last meeting
were read and aproved.
Mr. Hammett reported he had collected 41.00 of taxes since last meeting.
G.P. Maynard appointed the following committee to serve on the equalization board, C.R. Hillis, W. E.
Bidell,Jess Kreymer.The committee was approved be council if they would serve.
Mr. Hausewright reported that he could not get a cut from TP & L Co on light rate.
Clerk reported that the North Texas Telephone Co would not cut on telephone rates. Was moved and
sec to pay TP & L Co 100.00 on street lights.
Was moved and sec that the council reciened there pay quartly, motion carried.
The following bills were allowed, Night Watchman 10.00,TP & L Co Street Light 100.00,TP& L Co for
pump 43.40, Gulf Refinery Co Oil 5.20,A. Davis salary& labor 3.50, Salary A. Brown 3.00,J.W. Ruse 3.00,
C.R. Hillis 3.00,J.R.Jones salary 60.00, E. Hausewright 3.00, G.P. Maynard 12.50,J.C.Jennings 3.00, Ray
Pitts Salary 6.00, Wylie fire Department donation 60.00. With no further business, council adjourned.
