03-15-1932 (City Council) Minutes Minutes of City Council Meeting Held March 15, 1932 Council met on above date with all present except Alderman C.L. Hillis. After invocation by Atty W.F. Duncan the minutes of last meeting were read and approved. Mr. Hammett reported that he had collected 105.00 taxes since last meeting, also reported that the work on fines due were as follows. Wayms Hillis had worked all but%2 day of his time, C.L. Riley has worked 4 days, Paul Mallow 3 days, Morris Stone 3 days. Alderman A. Brown informed the council that C.B. Poe worked to cut the cottonwood tree on the city park lot, was moved and sec that he be allowed to cut the trees, clean them up and mark the corner for the wood as his pay, motion carried. Walter Green asked the city to build a crossing walk from Mr. Hillis corner to his corner, the council advised Mr. Green that if he would build a walk by his property that the city would then make the crossing.The report of the Tax Power& Light Co's business was read and filed.The following bills were allowed.
