11-12-1931 (City Council) Minutes Minutes of City Council Meeting Held November 12, 1931
Council met on above date with all present. After invocation by mayor, the following business was
transacted. Mr E.Talleson was with the council asking permission to discontinue some of the street
lights places on the Railroad right of way.The council told Mr Talleson to write his company(Santa Fe)
to wait a few days and the matter would be looked into.The question of fines was again taken up and
discussed and then Marshal was again instructed to get the money. Was moved and sec that the city
give the school board the authority to pipe the water from the school building into the sewer if found
practicable, motion carried.The following bills were allowed and ordered to be paid. H & H Co 61.20,
J.R.Jones 2.00,Albus Davis 4.00, bal on assessment of Tax 2.15, A. Brown 1.50, L.F. Daniel 2.88, I.V.
Boren .80,J.C.Jennngs .91. No further business council adjourned.
