05-19-1908 (City Council) Minutes Wylie, Texas May 19- 1908
A special session of the town council was called by Mayor Baskette to
provide for quarantine of the praemissa of E. H. Poole, who was reported to have
small-pox.
By vote of council the Mayor was instructed to employ a guard for day
and one for night and give them orders to act in his discretion.
On motion and second, Dr. T. O. Staples was elected health officer and his
fees to be the same as a county health officer.
No further business being in order, adjournment carried.
